What is PROTECT?
PROTECT is a three-year Erasmus+ project (2025–2028) coordinated by Clare Education Centre, bringing together education partners from Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Croatia, and Serbia.
The project places pupil voice, inquiry, and action at the centre of climate education.

Young People as Agents of Change
PROTECT is built on the belief that pupils can play a leading role in understanding and responding to climate change when supported by teachers, schools, and communities.
- Strengthen climate education in European schools
- Empower pupils to investigate local climate challenges
- Build teacher capacity through professional learning
- Connect schools with families and communities
- Create open-access resources with long-term value
